The San Pedro Nerds have revealed something so true about Los Angeles:
New people (developers??) moving into established communities want to make believe they're not in the City. They post about a new development claiming to be in Palos Verdes, when they're really in the City. I like the first (confusing) line of the
developer's website that says:
"Situated in the affluent neighborhood of the Palos Verdes Peninsula of San
Pedro, the Seaport Homes Community..."
What the heck does that mean:
"neighborhood of the Palos Verdes Peninsula of San Pedro?"
Be proud of where you build your project: in Los Angeles.

And I can assure you the opposite.... Palos Verdes certainly wouldn't want people thinking they are Los Angeles...
